Mechanical & Electrical Services Management (MEP)
Day to day Management tailored around project budgets for main contractors and clients, this can be from one to five days per week depending on your requirements.
The Technical Services is the general day to day operational requirements for MEP packages as detailed below. This has also expanded to cover in-depth programme reviews (all aspects) and sequencing, as well as contract reviews for clients and developers across traditional JCT's and design and Build contracts.
Responsibilities/Day to Day services include;
1. Pre-construction review and analysis, information release schedule, risk register schedules and tender cost analysis prior to placement of orders.
2. Tender write ups.
3. Licence to alter packs.
4. Building control, planning and Heritage reviews.
5. Producing & reviewing Method Statements, Risk Assessments.
6. Managing/organising Utility Companies on site.
7. Managing Lift installation companies on site.
8. Implementation/review and control of the Design & Build/CDP submittal process and contractors design proposals.
9.M&E Design Management.
10. Co-ordinating M&E and associated disciplines about the work face, FFE and other trades.
11. Managing site staff and sub-contractors.
12. Order placement.
13. Setting out of MEP installations.
14. BREEAM & Code compliance.
15. Full Quality Assurance implementation/commissioning & witnessing on MEP.
16. Programming and sequencing.
17. Commissioning & witnessing.
18. Reviewing O&M/HUG submissions and logbook production.
19. Production and collation of Final Operations & Maintenance Manuals and Home User Guides.
20. Implementation and control of the defect process from Practical Completion through to issuance of Final certificate.
21. Non-Compliance notifications.
22. Commercial reviews.
