Symm Builders – Day to day MEP services management across various projects, drawings, technical submittal & coordination reviews, scope gap drawings/sketch's for construction associated with acoustic enclosure requirements, commissioning sequencing & planning and regular services meetings. No in house Technical Services Management present on this project .
A fluid remit with no set days or hours initially covering the creation of a new private dwelling including basement car park and security lodge on the Wentworth estate in Surrey.
We were approached and engaged to undertake a review of the current MEP design and look at the choke points with an aim to improve the flow of information between parties, as well as dealing with client team scope gaps to reduce the programme implications.
Leading to the expansion across a number of projects in London and the home counties to encompass day to day management on Super Prime Residential projects.
In addition to the above, we carried out high level pre construction reviews on a number of projects to allow them to understand the more in depth risks to Programming & Costs and raising the relevant RFI's.
Tender write ups were undertaken on a large number of projects.
Working with the Joinery division to capture all M&E access requirements and interfaces required on Super Prime projects to reduce risks after manufacture and installation.
